He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Panama City, FL; founder, owner and CEO of Icemakers, Inc. He was a past Master Mason in Farrah Lodge he was also a Shriner. He was also past Commadore of the Guntersville Yacht Club. Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 19, 1999 at 2:00 p.m.

Elmwood Chapel directing. KEARNEY, HARRY, age 68, of Birming- ham, died Tuesday, September 14, 1999. He was born in Paisley, Scotland and graduated from St. Mirrin's Academy.

He was a veteran in the United States Army serving in France and Germany, before immigrating to the U. S. in 1949. He graduated from Rider College and taught mathematics in the Trenton, New Jersey school system. He moved to Alabama in 1954 and became a U.

S. citizen in 1973. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Fisher Kearney; a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Allison Kearney of Birmingham; a daughter and sonin-law, Allison and Edward Braswell of Atlanta; two grandsons, Stephen Baker Kearney and John Hunter Kearney; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Grace Braswell and Katherine Griffith Braswell; brother, H. M. Kearney from Barrie, Ontario, Canada; and a sister, Maureen Kearney Robertson from British Columbia and several nieces and nephews.

Larry will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, friend, and a true union man. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nancy Peoples Myers; his daughter, Melissa Joan Adkins and her husband, Ronnie; his son, Larry Gilbert Myers, Jr. (Bert) and his wife, Joy, and Michael Scott Myers. He is survived by his granddaughters, Elise and Anna Caroline Adkins. He is also survived by his mother, Augusta Myers and his brother, Connie B.

Myers. He had five nieces and four nephews. Larry Myers was an international representative for P.A.C.E. International Union (formerly United Papers Workers Union) and a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church where he has served as Chairman of the Administrative Council and various other committees. He was the chairman of the Cement Council of the P.A.C.E.

International Union. Active pallbearers will be Bryan Peoples, Dr. G. E. Peoples, Mac Myers, John Myers, Mark Simpson, and Eddie Moore.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene Simpson, Jimmy Coupland, Stuart Moore, Dwain Coupland, Booty Peoples, George Peoples, Stanley Phillips and all Staff Officers and members of Region International Union. CHRISTINE HARGETT, age 84, a longtime resident of Trussville, passed away September 15, 1999. A retired employee of Pizitz Department Store, she was also past President of the Pizitz Garden Club. Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Reynolds.
