He was a classified advertisement salesperson for the Advertiser-Journal for 5 years and was in television and radio advertising for 2 years. He was the owner of Odom Realty for 20 years.

Mr. Odom was a speaker for United Way for 5 years, a member and past president of Knife and Fork, International, a member of the English Speaking. Union, Toastmaster International for 5 years and a member of Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church for 18 years. He was a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in business where he was a member of the Gator Band. Mr.

Odom many interests and hobbies, including, reading and other activities. He was a past of the USAF band and had a small combo off and on for many years.
