He was a respected member the Dairy Industry for 35 years. In 1969 he began working for Associated Milk Producers of Alabama until 1976 when he formed a dairy cooperative (Southeast Milk Marketing, In 1978, Southeast Milk Marketing merged with Southern Milk Sales, Inc. Mr. Trawick worked for Southern Milk Sales until its merger with Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), Inc. in 1995.

He worked for DFA until his retirement in 1998, however he continued as a consultant until his death. Mr. Trawick was a member of Frazer United Methodist Church and the Jack Thompson Sunday School class. Mr. Trawick is survived by his wife of 48 years: Jane White Trawick of Newville, AL: his mother: Grace Palmer of Dothan.

Mr. Browning born on January 15, 1918 in Elloree, was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He was a loyal and dedicated Gator fan and an avid golfer. Browning and Augustus Browning and two sisters, Cathleen B. Anderson and Lorina B. Partin. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, June Jordan Browning; children, Carol B. Horne and husband Rick, Clifton V.

JOHNSON, Bettye Jean (B.J.), died on March 28, 2005, at her residence at Cara Vita Village, after a short illness. She was a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, lived in New York City and Houston, Texas for 19 years and lived in Montgomery from 1967 until her death. She graduated from Chattanooga High School, Class of 1942, and from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church and the Vaughn Meadows Garden Club. She served seventeen years as a volunteer and later President of the Baptist Medical Center Auxiliary and served on the Board of the Baptist Health Care Foundation.

Cook was born January 24, 1917, in Union Springs to Dr. John Sydney Cook and Foy Cade Cook. He was predeceased by his brother, Alfred Foy Cook. He served in the U.S. Army before and during World War graduated from Auburn University in 1939, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alabama in 1948.

He also earned an L.L.M. degree at New York University in 1960. During his career he was associate professor of business law at Auburn University and Jacksonville State University. He retired as professor at West Georgia College in Carrollton, Georgia in 1987. He also practiced law in Auburn and Carrollton.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Hampton Cook; his daughter, Camille Cook Ashley of Montgomery; his sons, J. Sydney Cook, Ill, Reuben W. Cook, and Cade S. Cook, all of Tuscaloosa; his wife's children, Charlotte V. Jinks of Union Springs, Roland H.

Vaughan of Tuskegee and Asa Vaughan of Hurtsboro; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his brother, Dr. Malcolm C. Cook of Bessemer; his sister-in-law, Carolyn "Bootie" Cook Smitherman of Thompson; several nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Susie Jackson. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, George S. 18, 1907 to Rev. and Mrs. David Randall Jackson, of Birmingham. She was a graduate of Ensley High School, Birmingham, received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Judson College and did Graduate work at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. She was awarded the Doctorate of Humane Letters by Judson College.

As the wife of a minister, the late Dr. Henry Louis Lyon, she worked alongside her husband and was the inspiration and coordinator of the Ministry of Christian education in the Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery for the 28 years Dr. Lyon served as Pastor. She was extremely proud of the 55 young men and women called into Christian ministry under their leadership. Mrs.

Lyon was an educator. She taught in public schools of Alabama and was a teacher at Montgomery Academy for 14 years where she began the open-classroom method of teaching. She served as a trustee of Judson College, was President of the Judson College Alumnae Association, and a member of the Executive Board of Alabama Baptist Woman's Missionary Union. She was a longtime Sunday School teacher and frequent conference leader and speaker. Mrs.

Lyon is listed in Who's Who of American Women, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the National Society of Magna Charta Dames and was an active member of the Mother's Circle of Montgomery for 42 years. Mrs. Lyon is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Henry Louis Lyon, Ill of Montgomery; two grandchildren, Jane Louise Lyon Armour, and husband, Dale, of Jackson, MS; And David Louis Lyon and wife, Edith, of Birmingham; and three great-grandchildren, Garner Louis Lyon, Charles Jackson Lyon, and Frances Foster Lyon of Birmingham.

Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank Lyon, of Boston. Serving as Pallbearers will be David Lyon, Garner Lyon, Dale Armour, Jerry Hobbs, Fred Flowers, Dr. James Sparrow, Melford Espey, Chad McDonald. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons and wives of McGehee Road Baptist Church and those called into the Christian Ministry under Dr.
