The Alabama Board of Adjustment has awarded $2,500 to a Mississippi man who suffered injuries in an accident near Hamilton" resulting from unsafe conditions on a highway under construction. The audit, covering the year from Oct. 1, 1953 through Sept. 30, 1954, indicated the hospital had an operating loss of $190,310.51. Records showed the facility's operating revenue totaled compared with expenses of $3,060,917.40. This was a sharp drop from the previous year when the hospital bad made a profit of $65,982.51.
