Adams, mother of the bridegroom, wore a dusty rose lace over satin with ice-blue carnations. Following a wedding trip to the gulf coast, the couple will make their home in Montgomery. For travel the bride wore a navy dress with matchng accessories. Out of town guests were Mrs. Seth Herndon and Mrs.

Hurley, vocalist, and Miss Carolyn Eads, organist, contributed nuptial music. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white Chantilly lace over net, of ballerina-length. Her shoulder length veil was trimmed in pearls and Chantilly lace and she carried a white Bible marked with a white orchid. Miss Deloris Herndon, sister of the bride, was the bride's only attendant and wore a gown of pale orchid lace fashioned ballerina length. Her flowers were pink carnations.

Miss Joyce Holcomb, of Gains-ville, was maid of honor. She wore a black suit with white accessories. William Mitchell Johnson, of Atlanta, served as best man. The bride is a graduate of the Greenville High School and attended State Teachers College, Troy. She holds a position in Atlanta.
