Oscar Carlos Groves of Louisville, Ky. Miss Barton is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Wilburt Hayes of Clanton and Mr. and Mrs.

Morgan Wood Barton of Tuscaloosa. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama where she was a member of Delta Zeta sorority and Pi Mu Alpha math honorary. Mr. Groves is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs.

Phillip E. Watts and Mrs. Oscar J. Groves and the late Mr. Groves of Louisville.

A graduate of the University of Alabama, he was a member of the Alabama Insurance Society and is employed in Birmingham. The wedding will be February 17 in the First Baptist Church in Clanton.
